Since joining the 2013 IGF in Bali and Beyond Access workshop, I just realised how important the role of public library to support development. Indonesia is a big country and with high diversity, We have 25.728 libraries (school, special, university and public libraries). Most of the public libraries have got internet facility and I believe that thru all IFLA initiatives (eg Internet Manifesto and Lyon's Declaration ) public library in Indonesia will be able to improve their role specifically on supporting the SDGs. I am currently member of the Multi stakeholder Advisory Group -ID-IGF and wish to learn from librarian colleague how to start this obsession.
